OUR IDENTITY

  • We are AUTHENTIC - We are true to what God called us to be. We are genuine and honest. We are imperfect, but we are a work in progress.

  • We are COMMITTED - We faithful, passionate, energetic and fervent in our faith. We have a heart for God and a heart for others.

  • We are TRANSFORMED - We are made new. We are not of the world. We honor God by obeying Him and the authorities He has placed in our lives. We are humble and we accept correction.

  • We are SENT - We have a purpose and we live out our purpose. We go and make disciples. We reach out to our family, friends, and schoolmates.

WHY OUR DEPARTMENT EXISTS

  • Belonging - FY will be a place where the youth belong -- where everyone is accepted regardless of history and status. We will cultivate a culture of uplifting relationships with fellow believers.

  • Empowerment - FY will equip and empower the youth as the "now generation" to bold in their faith and reach out to people in their schools, homes and communities.

  • Strengthening of the Faith - FY will create avenues to establish a secure and deep relationship of the youth with Christ and healthy knowledge of Him and how He sees them.

  • Tuning of Character - FY will help in holistic development to bring change to attitude and behavior that will be more aligned to God’s intent and set apart our youth as salt and light in the world.

MEMBERSHIP

  • FY1: 13 to 16 years old, unmarried

  • FY2: 17 to 22 years old, unmarried

  • FY3: 23 to 30 years old, unmarried

 

Members and attendees of churches under the Church of the Foursquare in the Philippines, Inc who are 13 to 30 years old and have never been married are automatically part of the Foursquare Youth department.

 

Note: This is not a “hard rule” but we highly encourage those above 30 years old (except for leaders and coordinators) to move up to the next department.
